This is the moment two men on a motorbike hilariously fail in a bid to cross a submerged bridge covered with flood water and are swept floundering downstream.
The incident was filmed outside the town of Manasa in the district of Neemuch located in the north-central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, and shared on social media.
According to local media, the two men, identified as Amritlal Patidar and Jay Prakash Patidar, were on their way to work when they arrived at the Khajuri Bridge discovery covered by water from the swollen stream.
Reports said that heavy rains had battered the region in recent days resulting in the high water levels.
The bikers however ignored warnings by villagers who were trapped on either side of the bridge and decided to blindly cross the fast-moving stream.

But there are only about halfway across when they topple over and swept off the bridge and downstream.
And while the two men managed to stay afloat until they are rescued further downstream, the bike briefly surfaces before sinking to the bottom.
They were then swept away by the water and dragged around 100 feet before residents on the bank managed to rescue them.
In the footage, the two men set off on the motorbike and appear to follow the flooded bridge until they are halfway across.
They end up on either side of the stream where they are then helped ashore by residents.
