This is the moment a man plunges over 100 feet down a rocky waterfall after slipping while taking a selfie.

The startling incident took place at a seasonal waterfall in the Charmadi Ghat area of the Dakshina Kannada district in the south-western Indian state of Karnataka after tourists had stopped their cars to take in the mountain scene and waterfall.
Local media report the man, who has not been named in reports, was at the top of the 100-foot waterfall and was trying to take a selfie when he slipped and fell.
In the video, he can be seen tumbling down the rocky waterfall at high speed as other tourists are gathered at the bottom.
Reports state he was taken to a nearby hospital by onlookers and he is reportedly in a critical condition.
Local media report heavy rainfall in the area has seen several seasonal waterfalls created down mountainsides.
Charmadi Ghat is part of the Western Ghats mountain range which runs 990 miles up the western coast of India. The mountain range is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the most bio-diverse places in the world.
