According to reports, residents have staged a protest against the local council for failing to deal with stray animals, particularly roaming cattle.
Protest organiser Neha Sharma said: “What was the fault of the family which was ruined due to the negligence of the MC (municipal council)?
“I think a case must be registered against the MC officials who are responsible for not taking any action despite repeated requests by people to catch stray cattle.”
It is currently unclear whether the local authorities are investigatuing the incident.
